  • Camp Layout

    Designed By Catherine Cray Gelaude

Boy Scout camp was the highlight of our son’s summer for many years. Recently we were reminiscing about all of the fun times. I decided to use some old camp photos to create this memorable page layout.  As you can see -- the attire has barely changed and the merit badges are identical to the ones they earned on their way to the rank of Eagle Scout!

Directions:

  1. On a green cardstock panel -create the 'Summer Camp' title, using letters from the Boy Scout Die Cuts, adhere to the top of the 'Adventure' 12 X 12 paper.
  2. Punch 2 red cardstock Fleur de lis' and 3 green cardstock Xmas pines.  Layer 3 merit badges onto the pines.
  3. Select 4 favorite camp photos - adhere to the page, as shown.
  4. With the Pure Red Zig Writer, apply information to the Die Cut journal block.
  5. Embellish the page with assorted die cuts -- brown Fleur de lis oval, journaling block, green 'Scouting' panel and the punches -- pines with badges to the left side and red fleur de lis to the right corner area.
  6. Adhere the red die cut Fleur de lis to the center of the compass.
